Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% travel to client sites

Salary: 92k plus commission


Job Overview:

GSD Search is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager / Customer Service Manager for our client based in Brentwood, TN. This role is primarily focused on account management with sales-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, building strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to drive long-term success.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer needs.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner.
  • Track and report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Set and monitor sales account targets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Analyze and track key sales metrics, including quarterly results and annual forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and suggest actions to improve sales performance.
  • Build trust and rapport with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of protective packaging solutions and sales techniques.
  • Meet budgetary goals set by the VP of Sales & Marketing and the company.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage accounts of all sizes (regional & national).
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse personalities.
  • Hands-on experience in sales with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
